    Hi Everyone!

    I am a therapist, specializing in working with trauma survivors, especially survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. I am inspired by the strength and resilency of women's spirits. I believe in the power of a circle of women coming together to heal, grow, and share our wisdom. I am interested in connecting with other women in the western suburbs of Chicago for either of two purposes -- to develop a group to help women access and claim their power and/or to form a women's circle in which we can connect, grow, and develop our spirits so we can soar.

    I will join you in spirit, from California. I am still reeling from the recent incedent after a high school dance in Richmond. I believe in acting locally, but your words expressed the seeds of desire that I have for the future of our children. I've been personally effected by trauma and understand the need for healing empowerment.

    Hi ladies!

    I am not in Chicago but I am organizing a volunteer trip this November to empower women in Nepal. We are building a hostel for women in the district headquarters of the Everest region near the higher secondary school. In this part of the country, 70% of girls drop out of school after the 10th grade because school is too difficult to reach both geographically and financially. By sponsoring 50 women per year, we hope to change that.
